Catalog fields
How this rank works
metric
Table total
Regulator or archived operator count on the rating card — same field we show on the casino page.
Tip: Not live open pits.
scope
Outside Vegas
Every Las Vegas slug is excluded even if the brand name says “Las Vegas.”
Tip: Land only.
poker
Poker column
Published poker tables when the regulator splits them — blank means zero in our file.
Tip: Open /poker-room/ when linked.
best
“Best” wording
Largest verifiable inventory in our catalog — not odds, comps, or influencer picks.
Tip: Places in rank are never sold.
tribal
Tribal gap
Tribal casinos are not in this rank until the tribal layer ships with the same fields.
Tip: Honest coverage note.

Common mistakes
01Treating table rank as payout rank
Regulators publish counts, not your session outcome. Size ≠ loose machines.
02Ignoring the market hub
A PA giant might be hours from Philadelphia. Open the Pennsylvania Floors hub for geography.
03Expecting Vegas brands to clone Vegas pits
Licensed cousins share names, not identical game mixes. Read each card’s by-game table split.

01Ranking method
What are the best casinos in the US outside of Las Vegas?
On CasinoList, we rank rating-card properties outside Las Vegas by published table totals from state regulators. MGM National Harbor (214 tables) leads our catalog today, followed by Wind Creek Bethlehem, Encore Boston Harbor, and other rows in the Answer table — all with source links on each card.
Why are tribal casinos missing?
Our tribal inventory layer is not live yet. This rank is commercial land properties we already harvest — not a claim tribal floors are smaller.
02Using the list
Does the biggest casino have the best poker room?
Not necessarily. Borgata ranks sixth by total tables but publishes 62 poker units — more than some larger pits. Sort by poker in the Pennsylvania or Atlantic City hubs when poker is the point.
